Affirmative Prayer Outline 2

It is not the spirit of man that needs to be made whole; it is his mental reactions to life that need healing.  These mental reactions are both conscious and subjective.  Successful spiritual mind treatment neutralizes negative reactions on both the conscious and the subjective levels. ~  Ernest Holmes

Affirmative Prayer Outline

Purpose: To remind myself that Spirit is Source, Love, and Infinite

Step 1 (recognition – recognizing the nature of Spirit): Spirit is all that there is. Spirit is love and life, beauty and power, joy and life itself. Spirit is Infinite Source. Spirit is perfect, whole and complete. All that is and will ever be exists within Spirit. The loving nature of Spirit gives completely of itself to itself, from its infinite nature.

Step 2: (unification – remember that I am one with Spirit) I exist wholly and completely within Spirit, and It within me. I am a place where the loving givingness of Spirit shows up in the world. Unlimited love and joy and beauty and peace are my nature. All that I am is Divine Spirit, so every aspect of my being is infused with Spirit.

Step 3: (realization – stating and claiming what it is that I am choose to make real in my life) I speak this powerful and creative word for and about myself.  I consciously and intentionally release any and all fear and old beliefs that no longer serve me, and instead choose and affirm my Divine Truth.

I choose to release;

I choose to know that Spirit is;

I choose to know that I am;

Step 4: (gratitude – giving thanks for the realization, for remembering, for the shift in consciousness) I express my gratitude for this shift in consciousness that reminds me of the Truth of who and what I truly am.

Step 5: (release – we release this new realization into a Divine creative law that responds to our thoughts) I release this prayer into the Law of Mind and Spirit, and let it be. For so it is!
